Distraction
The garden is aimed at the young professional couple, who wish
to relax in their garden as well as entertain.
Traditional materials are used to complement a contemporary design. Raised beds
take the eye up through the garden to the wooden bench, which in turn
encourages you to explore.
The fire-pit is a contemporary form of alfresco entertaining, where friends and
family can sit around and eat, whilst also keeping warm on cooler summer
evenings from the heat radiating through the bricks. It creates a warm friendly
atmosphere and brings an air of mystery and romance into the garden.

The Planting scheme used in the garden
A hot and cold planting theme has been used throughout the
garden to reflect the heat of the fire-pit and the cool channels of water.
